Yogurt & Fruit: A fast healthy start.


After many wake-up calls from mom, you're running late for school again.  Hustling out the door, your stomach moans for something to eat.  This is a great time to reach for a yogurt and a piece of fruit.


Yogurt is teen friendly. It has a pretty balanced amount of carbs, fats and protein. The big bonus is Calcium. Yogurt has a good dose of calcium.  Strong solid bones...calcium plays a big role in that. Oh...and protein...gotta get enough of that as a growing young person.


What type of fruit? Doesn't matter. Was does matter is that you mix it up.  Apple today, strawberries tomorrow.
